According to our good friend wikipedia, “Prostate massage is the massage or stimulation of the male prostate gland for sexual stimulation or medical purposes.” According to us here at Nexus, prostate massage is a healthy way for men to maintain prostate health and explore their own sexual pleasure. If you have never tried anal play before, we recommend that you take time to explore the area with your fingers first. You should be able to locate the prostate by inserting your middle finger two inches and gently pushing the pad against the wall of the rectum towards your stomach – you’ll find a small area with a smooth surface which, when pressed gently might make you want to urinate. When it comes to choosing a lube please bear in mind that silicone based lubricants can corrode toys made from silicone so always choose a good quality water based lubricant to ensure that your silicone toy lasts as long as you do. For toys made of polypropylene such as the Nexus Glide, Neo, Titus, Excel and Vibro any type of lubricant is suitable – it’s always a good idea to try a couple of different lubes to see what suits you best. For intermediate to advanced anal play we recommend that you use a lubricant which has a thick, gel like consistency as this will ensure that you enjoy a smooth ride. There are many good quality lubes on the market with various consistencies and added herbal ingredients, you might like to experiment with lubricants that boast other qualities such as desensitizing, warming, cooling...the list is endless!

This is a good question! The answer is that some are definitely male toys, whilst others can be enjoyed by women too.

Nexus was originally launched with prostate toys aimed at the ‘male G-Spot’. These toys, the Glide, Excel, Titus, Neo and Vibro are purely for male use as they have been ergonomically contoured to fit the male anatomy.
